We have 4 senior teams, 3 that play Saturday Staffordshire league cricket and one Sunday team in the Lichfield and District league. Our 5 junior teams (for players aged 10 to 18) play in the Burton and District league. Our teams train on a weekly basis using our modern outdoor nets during the season and run winter nets at an indoor venue from January until spring. 

We also actively promote the ECB All Stars (4 to 7-year-olds) and Dynamos cricket 7to 10-year-olds). We have won awards for our delivery of the brilliant All Stars programme that is designed to get young people into cricket by exposing them to basic skills through fun, active, soft-ball games and activities. 

Our exceptional team of volunteer All Stars Activators worked hard to put Whittington in the top 4% nationwide for participation in 2019, and every session is an absolute blast! 

Last year we successfully initiated a Women’s and Girl’s section providing coaching and the opportunity to play softball tournaments.

We have well over 200 friendly members and affiliates, as well as dozens of volunteers who participate with both coaching and committee matters.
